High speed powers the jets when the spa requires a higher flow rate. Low speed can be used for filtration and heating cycles, depending on the installation. This pump requires a control system designed for two-speed operation.

Compatibility and replacement

Compare the 48WUA2002C-II model, voltage, 48 frame, and 10/3 A current ratings. To replace a Waterway Executive 48 or another brand, also check the footprint, thread type, and outlet position. Plumbing adjustments may be needed.

Installation and startup

Have a qualified technician handle the replacement and electrical connections. They should verify control system compatibility, watertightness, and circuit priming before restarting the spa. Do not run the pump dry.
