Dazzle Day & Night: a new way to maintain your pool
Pool maintenance should not require multiplying bottles, corrective treatments, and adjustments every week. The Day & Night program by Dazzle was designed to simplify this routine with two complementary products: Solei during the day and Luna at night.
At Piscine Hippocampe, this is an approach we want to promote more for chlorine pools because it makes it possible to combine several maintenance functions into a simpler routine while keeping the sanitizer at the heart of the treatment.
How does the Day & Night system work?
The principle is simple: instead of treating each problem with a separate product, Day & Night divides maintenance into two complementary phases.
During the day: Solei
A liquid treatment designed to support oxidation and the action of the sanitizer during the day while helping maintain water clarity.
At night: Luna
A multifunctional mineral treatment that helps manage organic matter, deposits, biofilm, and overall water quality.
The program does not replace chlorine. It works with your sanitizer to simplify the overall routine and reduce the number of complementary products to handle.
Step 1 — during the day
Solei: supporting oxidation during the day
Solei 3.78 L is an oxidizer designed to harness solar energy to support water treatment during the day.
In a Day & Night routine, its main role is to:
- support the action of chlorine or bromine;
- help manage the organic load;
- help maintain clear, bright water;
- simplify routine maintenance.
Solei should not be confused with a primary sanitizer: the free chlorine level must always be measured and maintained.
Step 2 — at night
Luna: a multifunctional mineral treatment
Luna by Dazzle completes the program by addressing several maintenance aspects that would normally require different specialized products.
According to its product sheet, Luna contributes in particular to:
- break down oils and certain organic matter;
- limit biofilm formation;
- help prevent scale deposits;
- keep surfaces cleaner;
- improve water comfort and clarity.
The main benefit for the owner is simplification: fewer specialized products to add individually and a routine that is easier to follow.
Day & Night does not replace chlorine
This is the most important point of the program. Solei and Luna are complementary maintenance products, but primary sanitization must always be provided by an adequate level of chlorine, bromine, or a salt system.
For a standard chlorine pool, Dazzle Protect Sticks are a logical option thanks to their slow, prolonged dissolution.
Since this is stabilized chlorine, the cyanuric acid level should also be monitored throughout the season to avoid excessive buildup.
A much simpler weekly routine
The program's strength lies in its repeatability. Rather than reacting to every problem, follow a structured routine.
1. Test the water
Check chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer.
2. Adjust the sanitizer
Maintain the recommended level for your pool.
3. Add Solei
Follow the label dosage according to the volume.
4. Add Luna
Add the recommended dose to a clean skimmer according to the label.
The Day & Night Solei & Luna kit contains 2 × 3.78 L of Solei and 1 × 2.5 kg of Luna. Depending on the volume, dosage, and conditions of use, it can provide up to approximately 16 weeks of treatment.

Yes. The kit information sheet indicates that it is compatible with chlorine and bromine pools, as well as saltwater systems.
However, for a saltwater pool, our specialized program generally remains Pristiva, particularly when the goal is to manage issues specific to surfaces, scale, minerals, and the saltwater environment.
