For your above-ground pool: Water volume, sun exposure, desired temperature, target season, and power supply all affect the choice. The MTS50 is not a one-size-fits-all option for every above-ground pool.

Keep the pleasure of comfortable water
After a great swim, put a properly sized solar cover back on your pool to help limit evaporation and heat loss. A simple step that pairs well with a heating project.

For your above-ground pool: Choose the right shape and size. Remove the cover completely before swimming; it is not a substitute for a safety cover. Follow the care and storage instructions.

It is designed for above-ground pools 48 to 54 in. high. The two handrails and two ballast weights are included in the set described on the product page.
For your above-ground pool: Check the height, interior space, required attachment, and ballast. The model must suit your pool and liner, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

05 · Betta SE Plus
Let a solar-powered robot take care of floating debris
Floating leaves and insects aren’t what we want to see before taking a swim. The Betta SE Plus moves across the surface and collects them in its removable basket.
Cordless, it recharges in the sun, with a top-up charge using an adapter when needed. It takes care of surface cleaning; plan for a suitable cleaning method for the bottom and walls.
For your above-ground pool: Use it between swims, then remove it before getting in the water. The manufacturer also says not to use it with other cleaning devices in the pool. Remove it before covering the pool.
06 · MOOV MiniSalt MC50MINI
Simplify part of your chlorination routine
Want to reduce manual chlorine additions? MiniSalt produces chlorine from the salt dissolved in the water. It’s an option to consider for a compatible above-ground pool.
The MC50MINI is rated for up to 50,000 L in regular salt mode. Low Salt mode reduces this capacity to 37,000 L, so your choice should take the mode and your pool’s needs into account.
For your above-ground pool: Check compatibility with the pool, plumbing, and available flow rate. A saltwater pool always requires testing, water balancing, and sanitizer monitoring.

07 · MOOV VSP MP10VSP
Adjust circulation to fit your daily routine
Comfort around a pool also depends on the equipment. A variable-speed pump lets you adjust operation to suit circulation and filtration needs, as well as connected equipment.
At Piscine Hippocampe, our technicians program the MP10VSP and prepare the 110 V connection in our workshop for compatible above-ground installations before shipping. This preparation is for a suitable residential 120 V power supply.
For your above-ground pool: Confirm the power supply, connections, and minimum flow rate required by the filter, heater, and salt system. Workshop preparation does not include in-home installation.
08 · Dryden Aqua AFM® NG
Improve filtration for inviting water
Inviting-looking water makes you want to enjoy the pool. AFM® NG is an activated filter media designed to replace sand in a compatible filter and improve particle capture.
This upgrade goes inside the filter rather than along the pool’s edge. It’s for owners looking to change their filter media or optimize an existing setup.
For your above-ground pool: Confirm the grade, quantity, and filter configuration before purchasing. Filtration is part of water care; monitoring sanitizer and water balance is still necessary.
09 · 1.5-inch threaded Venturi water return
Pay attention to water circulation
A small component can be part of a larger upgrade to your setup. The 1.5-inch threaded Venturi water return is an option to consider for circulation as water returns to the pool.
If you’re revisiting your plumbing or pump, take the opportunity to have the fittings and return orientation checked. The goal is circulation suited to your setup.
For your above-ground pool: Confirm the thread type and compatibility with your existing return. This accessory does not replace the pump or a counter-current swimming system.

Are these products suitable for all above-ground pools?
Compatibility depends on the pool, its dimensions, mounting points, and equipment. The Swim Jet, steps, salt system, heat pump, and pump in particular require a check specific to your installation.
Does the Betta clean the bottom?
It collects debris from the surface. The bottom and walls are cleaned with a suitable device or tools. Use the Betta when no one is swimming in the pool.
Do I need to replace everything at the same time?
You can start with a specific need. However, for equipment connected to circulation, have the compatibility of the entire system checked before changing any component.
