Pentair Sta-Rite 2 in multiport valve – 14971-TM-22-L

The Pentair Sta-Rite 14971-TM-22-L 2-inch multiport valve allows you to select the different operations of your compatible Cristal-Flo sand filter. Mounted on top of the tank, it brings the filtration and maintenance controls together in one place.

Restore your sand filter’s functions

The valve offers filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, waste, and closed positions. It directs water through the filter or to the appropriate outlets according to the selected operation. Always stop the pump before changing the handle position and follow the instructions in the manual.

An option for putting an existing filter back into service

When the valve body or several of its components are damaged, replacing it can allow you to keep a filter tank that is still in good condition. However, a leak or a handle that is difficult to operate does not automatically mean that the entire valve needs to be replaced: a diagnosis may reveal a seal or mechanism that can be repaired.
