The Thermeau Prestige TH85 pool heat pump is a residential pool heater designed in Quebec. Its reverse hot-gas defrost helps manage frost on the evaporator in cool weather. The electronic thermostat lets you adjust the water temperature.

Prestige residential warranty: 5 years on parts and labor; 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger’s titanium tube against corrosion, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Keep your receipt and follow the installation and winterization requirements.
Installation and winterizing
Plan for a ventilated outdoor installation with access for maintenance. Have the connections, flow rate, and electrical circuit checked against the unit’s nameplate. For winter, follow Thermeau’s procedure to drain the water; a cover does not replace draining.
