At 50 °F air temperature and 80 °F water temperature, with 63% humidity, Thermeau lists 80,000 BTU/h for the TH125. BTU output is therefore not constant under all conditions. Compare units using the same test conditions.

Residential warranty

Prestige residential warranty: 5 years on parts and labor; 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger’s titanium tube against corrosion, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Keep your receipt and follow the installation and winterization requirements.

Installation and winterizing

Plan for an outdoor installation with good ventilation and access for maintenance. Have the connections, flow rate, and electrical circuit checked against the unit’s nameplate. In winter, follow Thermeau’s procedure to drain the water; a cover does not replace draining.
