Use and installation
Always stop the pump before changing the handle position. Before removing the valve, turn off the power and fully depressurize the filter according to its instructions. Check the seals, collar and center pipe alignment during installation, then check for leaks when restarting the system.
Refer to the filter manual for the backwash, rinse and winterization sequences suited to your installation. Do not use the Closed position while the pump is running.
