HeatTrak Waterproof Extension Cord – 20 in., 10 ft. or 25 ft.

The HeatTrak extension adjusts the spacing between components in a residential heated mat system. Choose the 20 in connector or a 10 or 25 ft extension based on the distance between the outlet, power unit, and mats.

Choose the length

• HR-EXT20: 20 in, or 50.8 cm.
• HR-EXT10: 10 ft, or about 3.05 m.
• HR-EXT25: 25 ft, or 7.62 m.

When should you use the 20 in connector?

Starting at the power unit, HeatTrak requires the 20 in connector when a stair mat leads to a walkway mat. The reverse direction, from a walkway to a stair, does not require this additional connector.

Compatibility

These 120 V cables are designed for HeatTrak residential stair and walkway mats. They are not suitable for industrial walkway mats. Check the component model numbers before setting up the layout.

Plan the wiring

The 10 and 25 ft extensions can be used to extend the path between compatible connections. Follow the installation instructions, system limits, and cable layout to avoid creating a trip hazard.
