Hot Spring Connected Spa Kit V2 79994 - Connected module

The Hot Spring Connected Spa Kit V2 79994 lets you control and monitor a compatible Hot Spring spa directly from the Hot Spring Spas smartphone app.

The system uses two pre-paired modules: a Home Network Adapter (HNA) installed inside the home and a Spa Network Adapter (SNA) connected to the spa’s control system. Once configured, the Connected Spa Kit provides remote access to the spa’s main functions and lets you check its status from virtually anywhere.

Connectivity

The Connected Spa Kit V2 uses a 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection to communicate with the home network. Hot Spring recommends an Internet connection of at least 1 Mb/s download and upload.

For a reliable connection:

• the HNA must be installed indoors in a location with a good Wi-Fi signal;
• the 2.4 GHz network must be enabled;
• the HNA should ideally have a clear line of sight to the spa;
• the distance between the HNA and SNA should not exceed 200 ft / 61 m;
• the app is optimized for smartphones and is not recommended for tablets.

Official compatibility

According to the Connected Spa V2 documentation published by Hot Spring:

• Highlife® Collection: 2024 and newer
• Limelight® Collection: 2024 and newer
• Hot Spot® Collection: 2025 and newer

I would therefore completely remove “Highlife 2014 and newer” and “Limelight 2014 and newer” from your current listing.

Older Connected Spa systems use, among others, the part numbers 78890 or 78891 and the Hot Spring Spas Legacy app. The new 79994 V2 uses the current Hot Spring Spas app.

Managing multiple spas

A single account can manage up to 10 spas. However, the current official V2 documentation specifies that a spa cannot be shared between different user accounts.
