What type of heat does this sauna offer?
The Kiruna 1 uses infrared panels to warm your body directly, generally at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna. It suits shoppers who prefer that warmth to the experience of a stone heater and steam.
How do I choose the right size?
The Kiruna 1 is designed for 1 person. Also think about how you like to sit: side by side, with your legs stretched out or with more personal space. The stated capacity does not guarantee room to lie down; compare the bench layout.
Can this sauna be installed outdoors?
This model is designed for indoor use. Choose a room that accommodates the cabin, door opening and required clearances and ventilation. For a backyard sauna, consider the outdoor Lulea collection instead.
Will I need to prepare the space before delivery?
Check the available space, access for the panels, flooring, ventilation and electrical supply. Requirements depend on the sauna and heating system: an existing outlet is not automatically suitable. Bring a few photos and measurements so we can help plan the preparation.
Does a sauna need much day-to-day care?
The routine mainly involves using a towel on the benches during your session, cleaning surfaces and allowing the cabin to dry afterward. Stones, the heater or infrared panels also need the checks described in the manual. There is no pool water to treat.
What goes into the budget for a home sauna?
Start with the cabin and heating system, then consider delivery, assembly and electrical work. An outdoor base or room preparation may also be needed. We explain what is included and what your space needs before you finalize your choice.
