Why choose this spa filter?

The pleated cartridge captures particles in the spa's filtration circuit. The handle makes it easier to remove for cleaning, while Pleatco's Free Flow core helps water pass through the media. A regularly maintained filter helps preserve circulation suited to the system and pleasant water for bathing.

Compatibility and replacement references

Dream Maker Spas is the application listed in the official Pleatco/Pentair catalog. The supplied documentation also mentions certain Gatsby, Maax, Vita, Alcove, and Saratoga systems: the brand alone does not guarantee compatibility. Always compare your filter's reference, diameter, length, and especially its 1½ in. MPT bottom connection before ordering. The PDC400-AFS reference is listed as a replacement in the supplied specifications; verify these same measurements.

Cleaning and replacement

Inspect and clean the cartridge regularly, adjusting the frequency to spa usage and the manufacturer's instructions. Remove the filter according to the spa's procedure, rinse between the pleats, and use a cartridge cleaner when necessary. Replace it when the media is damaged or cleaning no longer restores filtration. The cartridge is part of water maintenance and does not replace spa treatment.
