Soma and Splash pump ring for in-ground pool – 2 in. slip

This union fitting ring for a compatible Soma or Splash inground pool pump includes a 2 in. slip fitting and an O-ring. It lets you replace the corresponding union fitting on your system.

A union fitting for pump maintenance

The union fitting connects a compatible pump to the plumbing and allows the connection to be disconnected for maintenance. The retaining ring holds the fitting in place, and the O-ring seals against the intended surface when the assembly is installed correctly.

Confirm the right fitting before buying

The 2 in. slip size refers to the nominal pipe connection. Separately check the pump-side thread, fitting profile, and O-ring sealing surface. This fitting is not universal for all Soma and Splash pumps.

Installation and restarting

Turn off the pump, disconnect its power supply, and depressurize the system according to the manual before disassembly. Check that the surfaces are clean and position the O-ring correctly. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the slip connection, tightening, and restart timing.

Do not force a mismatched thread. Check for leaks when restarting and have any misalignment corrected before using the pump.
