The product in detail.

Hayward WGX1048B main drain ring, white. This replacement ring is part of a compatible Hayward main drain assembly. It is separate from the cover and must match the drain body, gaskets, and fastening system.

What this part does

The ring is part of the wall fitting and cover assembly. Its condition and fastening points should be checked before replacing a drain cover.

Specifications and part number

  • Brand: Hayward.
  • Part number: WGX1048B.
  • SKU: HAYWGX1048B.
  • Color: white.
  • Type: Pool drain ring.

Check compatibility

For compatible Hayward WG1048AV and WG1049AV assemblies, according to their parts lists. Confirm the drain version and whether it has the fastening inserts required by the cover being used.

An intact ring alone does not ensure the safety of the entire suction assembly. The cover and its fasteners must meet the specified configuration.

Installation and assembly check

Have a professional confirm the ring and fasteners. The Hayward manual distinguishes between older rings without inserts and versions with inserts; replacing the cover may require a matching ring.

Useful details.

What equipment is this product compatible with?
What reference number is listed for this product?
What is this product used for?
Main function: The ring serves to hold the drain grid in place while allowing optimal water circulation. It helps ensure that water is properly drawn in by the bottom drain, thus facilitating the filtration of the pool water.
