Piscine Hippocampe’s 600 g/m² above-ground pool felt provides an extra layer of protection between the base and the liner. Cut to the selected diameter, it is supplied in two half-moon sections for easier handling and positioning.
Useful details
The felt helps limit friction and contact with small residual uneven areas on the base, while improving comfort underfoot. Its density is 600 g/m², a mass per unit area; this does not correspond to a thickness in millimeters.

The felt is cut at Piscine Hippocampe warehouses according to the selected size. Check your pool diameter before ordering.
Prepare the base and position the felt
The underlay does not replace a properly leveled and compacted base cleared of rocks, roots, and sharp objects. Lay the two sections flat with the slight center overlap specified in the installation instructions. Avoid gaps, folds, and excessive overlap.

The L set includes two felt half-moons for the selected diameter. The liner, pool, and base materials are sold separately.

Handling by two people is recommended. Keep the product clean and dry before installation. Its size and weight may result in additional shipping charges; check the delivery options for your order.
