Find your replacement pool filter cartridge among Hayward, Pentair and Sta-Rite models, as well as ProAqua compatible cartridges for certain Hayward, Pentair and Jandy filters. Compare the part numbers and choose the model that matches your equipment.

Cartridges suited to your filter

• Hayward: cartridges for certain SwimClear and XStream filters, including the XStream CC1500 and CC2000 models.
• Pentair: part numbers for certain Clean & Clear, Clean & Clear RP and Clean & Clear Plus filters, including the ProAqua PA-1772 compatible with Clean & Clear Plus 520.
• Sta-Rite: replacement modules and sets for certain System 2 PLM and System 3 filters, including the S8M150 inner and outer set.
• Jandy: ProAqua compatible cartridges for certain CL and CV models, including the PA-1768 for CL460 / CV460.

How to choose a pool cartridge?

First, note the model listed on the filter and the part number of your old cartridge. Then compare the information in the product listing: length, outside diameter, openings and end configuration. The filter brand or filtration area in sq. ft. alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.

Also check whether the product is sold individually or as a set and how many cartridges your filter uses. For a system with inner and outer modules, identify the part to be replaced before ordering.

Maintenance and replacement

For maintenance, see the Pleatco cartridge cleaner and follow the cleaner’s instructions as well as those provided by your filter manufacturer. To determine when to clean or replace your cartridge, refer to your equipment manual and inspect its condition.

Not sure which of two part numbers to choose? The team at Piscine Hippocampe in Delson, on Montreal’s South Shore, can help you compare the models. Have the filter part number and photos of your cartridge and its ends ready.
