Check the connection before purchasing
Compare the filter model, thread diameter and pitch, and the shape and dimensions of the current assembly. Compatibility depends on the drain part number; it should not be assumed to apply to all filters of a brand.
Installation and maintenance
Turn off the pump, disconnect its power supply, and fully depressurize the filter according to its manual before removing the plug or drain. Allow for water drainage and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to disassemble and replace the assembly.
Check the contact surfaces and required sealing components before reassembly. Do not force an incompatible thread. Check for leaks after putting the system back into service.
