Soma and Tabex filter clamp, compatible with GMX600NM – with screw

This OC-4072 clamp ring secures the head of a compatible Soma or Tabex sand filter. It is also suitable as a replacement for Hayward part GMX600NM. Fasteners included.

A clamp ring to secure the filter head

The clamp ring fits around the joint between the head and tank of the sand filter. Its two halves and fasteners hold the assembly together according to the filter instructions.

Installing the clamp ring

Before starting work, turn off the pump, prevent it from restarting, and fully depressurize the filter according to its instructions. Check the condition and position of the head gasket, then install and tighten the clamp ring according to the manufacturer's instructions. Never loosen the clamp ring while the filter is under pressure.
