Before filling

Install and rinse the pre-filter according to its instructions. Use it for topping up or a complete fill, as specified by the manufacturer.

After filling

Test the water and adjust the sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and hardness according to your spa's requirements. This pre-filter does not replace the filter cartridge.

If the fill water is hard, test the calcium level too. Pre-filtering sediment and metals does not replace a hardness-reduction treatment.

For water that is too hard: FreshWater Vanishing Act 80100, depending on the test results.
