The product in detail.
Modernize your filtration with the Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF 011066: a 1.5 HP variable-speed and variable-flow pump, connected and equipped with a relay board for two compatible devices.
A pump that regulates flow, not just speed
You can choose a rotation speed or a target flow rate. In flow mode, the pump adjusts its speed to maintain the setpoint within the limits of the system. This setting makes it easier to manage circulation when the circuit resistance changes.
Relay board included: an advantage of the 011066 model
The integrated I/O board can control up to two compatible auxiliary devices. It can be used for simple automation of certain accessories, but does not by itself constitute a complete pool management system. Their connection must comply with the separate capacities of the two relays.
Connected control for everyday use
The Pentair Pool app lets you configure schedules and manage operation remotely with an appropriate connection. The local touchscreen is optional and sold separately.

Why choose Piscine Hippocampe?
The right purchase starts with a pump suited to your pool. Our team in Delson, on Montreal’s South Shore, can help you compare the requirements of your filter, heater, and salt system with those of your project.
To help prepare your choice, send us a photo of the label on your current pump, its connections, and the models of the connected equipment. Specify the accessories you would like to order with the relay board: their compatibility must be verified before installation.
Variable speed and savings: choosing the right settings
Running the pump at an appropriate speed can reduce energy consumption and noise compared with continuous operation at full speed. The result depends on the schedules, plumbing, accessories, and pump being replaced. The goal remains to maintain the circulation required by all equipment.
Before installation
Check the available space, connections, and power supply. Have the electrical connections and accessory configuration completed by a qualified person. Programming must comply with the flow rate required by the filter and other equipment.
Advice for replacing an inground pool pump
Compare the complete circuit rather than horsepower alone. A long pipe, multiple elbows, a filter, or accessories can change circulation requirements. For a pool with a heater and salt treatment, choose programs compatible with their flow requirements and operating periods.
