Help keep the cover closed

The strap is adjusted over the cover and helps supplement the support provided by the existing fasteners. A properly closed cover helps limit the entry of debris. Results depend on installation, adjustment, and the condition of the cover; resistance to all storms is not guaranteed.

The total strap length does not correspond to the maximum basin width. The manufacturer indicates compatibility with spas up to 10 ft wide. Check the bracket position, strap path, and access to the buckle in your installation.

Adjustment and daily use

Follow the instructions to attach the brackets to a suitable base. Release the strap before opening the cover or using the cover lifter. Periodically inspect the strap, buckle, and fasteners.
